We frequently hear from Renegade owners at rallies and on the owners’ Facebook group who are extremely eager to learn more about how to operate and maintain their coach and chassis. Renegade owners want to get the most from their wonderful RVs.
To meet this need, Renegade Life has created an intense 3-day program to train owners on Renegade RV systems and chassis. The program goes through RV systems use, maintenance, safety, and trouble-shooting common issues on the following topics:
- Chassis
- Tires & Tire Pressures
- Firefly
- Garmin
- Electrical
- Generator
- Plumbing
- Levelers
- Heating/Cooling
- Slide Maintenance
- Towing
- Driving Techniques
- Internet
Boot Camps are limited to 25 coaches or less in order to provide small group and individual attention and instruction. But just as important as training at Boot Camps, is the fostering of fellowship and networking with other Renegade owners for continued learning and support while on the road. Even meals taken together are fully taken advantage of as opportunities to share information and ideas.
Additional components of Boot Camps include a partnership with RV Driving School. This organization provides various options for driving instruction. We have experienced an incredible level of success in encouraging the “co-pilots”, who usually do not drive, to learn how to and become more confident and capable drivers. Another component of Boot Camps is the availability of “group buys” – purchases at a group discount of frequently installed modifications such as Drainmaster electric dump valves, Micro-Air EasyStarts, and SeeLeveL Tank Monitors. The idea with all of these optional offerings is to help make our Renegade RV experience just that much more positive.
There have been eight Renegade Boot Camps hosted in the past 13 months, with the last four of them being special “Mothership” Boot Camps, hosted near the Renegade Factory and new Renegade Customer Experience Center. These most recent Boot Camps near Bristol, IN were extended from 3 days to 4 days and included factory tours, not only of the Renegade Factory and Customer Experience Center, but of related factories such as Firefly, Double L Woodworking, Premium Paint, and CB Custom Paint. These Mothership Boot Camps have not only provided unique opportunities to obtain service and modifications from Renegade and other related service providers, but have increased owners’ knowledge of, trust in, and appreciation of the quality of their coaches and systems.
430 Renegade owners have participated in the Boot Camp programs thus far. Increased understanding of your Renegade leads to increased enjoyment of your Renegade!
